Nathaniel Weickert

After undergraduate school, Nathaniel worked three years in several different positions, including a seasonal position and then a position as crew leader at Nachusa National Grasslands, a Nature Conservancy site in northern Illinois. He came to KU in 2019 for a master's degree program and joined the KU Field Station staff in 2021. Here, he focuses primarily on land stewardship, research assistance and research site maintenance.
