Field-based learning for University classes
Get the learning you can't get inside
We welcome faculty from all disciplines interested in incorporating field-based experiences into their curricula. Instructors from KU and other institutions are encouraged to bring their students for self-guided classes or activities supported by field station staff. Many instructors return annually to use the prairies, woodlands and reservoirs as dynamic outdoor classrooms that enrich learning through real-world connections.
