Come on your own, or join us for an educational activity or program. The KU Field Station, just minutes from downtown Lawrence, I-70 and U.S. Highway 40 — yet a world away — is a place to explore and learn. Our nature trails and the KU Native Medicinal Plant Research Garden are open year-round, dawn to dusk. You'll find easy parking and interpretive signage to help you know the history and context of each setting.

We offer educational programming for the community, university classes and K-12 groups, as well as private programs. Use the links here to find out more.
